NEW YORK CITY — The New York Jets have confirmed they have completed their interview with Kansas City Chiefs Offensive Coordinator Eric Bieniemy.
According to reports, Bieniemy has now interviewed with five of the six teams that currently have head coaching vacancies: the Jets, Lions, Jaguars, Falcons and Chargers.
The only club that hasn't reached out is the Houston Texans.
Bieniemy, in his third year as the Chiefs' OC, headed up a Chiefs offense that finished first in the NFL in yards per game.
This is the second time in three years he's interviewed for an open Jets' head coaching position.
We have completed an interview with Eric Bieniemy for our head coaching vacancy.
