KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Chiefs fans have a chance to bid on some unique pieces of memorabilia and support a good cause at the same time.
The Kansas City Police Officers Memorial Foundation is auctioning off 12 items, including several pieces autographed by quarterback Patrick Mahomes, tight end Travis Kelce, wide receiver Tyreek Hill, defensive tackle Chris Jones or defensive end Frank Clark.
There’s also a replica championship ring set.
So far, the item receiving the highest bid is an autographed Mahomes helmet.
The nonprofit Memorial Foundation supports community outreach efforts in coordination with the Kansas City Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 99. It sponsors mobile mammogram events for uninsured women and holiday shopping sprees for children in need among other community activities.
The auction closes at 4 p.m. on Sunday before the Chiefs play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Super Bowl LV.
