KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Chiefs fans will have a chance to win a banner that flew along the Super Bowl parade route in downtown Kansas City, Missouri, last year.
Nearly four dozen of the “Home Sweet Home” banners featured in the Chiefs Kingdom Champions Parade will be auctioned off in a raffle this month, with tickets priced at $5 each.
The banners, which measure 30 inches by 72 inches, will be raffled off on Thursday, Jan. 14. Tickets will be sold through 3 p.m. that day, with winners notified shortly after. A total of 43 banners will be available to win.
The banners will be available for pickup on Friday, Jan. 15 — which, as the city noted in a press release, is “just in time for this year’s playoffs.”
A portion of proceeds from the raffle sale will go toward COVID-19 relief in Kansas City, Missouri, according to the city.
Tickets can be purchased online.
