KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Thousands of Oreos.
That's why Chiefs fullback Anthony Sherman is raffling off his Ford F250 for charity.
Sherman announced earlier this week that his truck would be raffled off and the proceeds donated to the E3 Ranch Foundation, which provides assistance for combat veterans, food-insecure Kansas City residents and helps human trafficking victims in partnership with Relentless Pursuit Outreach and Recovery.
However, it recently came to light that it wasn't Sherman's plan to give away his prized truck.
He explained the story in an interview with former Indianapolis Colts Pro Bowl punter Pat McAfee.
"I wanted it (the truck) forever," Sherman confessed to McAfee.
Instead, he will let go of the truck for a good cause - thanks to a prank.

Sherman said about a month ago he dumped roughly 12,000 unwrapped Oreo cookies through the sunroof of former MLB player Adam LaRoche's car. LaRoche, a Fort Scott native, founded the charity Sherman's truck raffle will support.
The truck raffle was LaRoche's way of exacting revenge.
During practice Saturday, Sherman said Chiefs punter Dustin Colquitt showed him a video from LaRoche explaining how he had set up a website to raffle off Sherman's truck.
With help from former Patriots offensive lineman Matt Light, who Sherman said he'd never met, they also figured out how to post the fundraiser announcement on Sherman's personal Twitter account and began promoting the fundraiser themselves.
"It's been a prank from day one, but I'm all on board now and I hope it raises a ton of money," Sherman told McAfee.
Colquitt, who also joined the interview on McAfee's podcast, explained that "J&C Firewall" hacked Sherman's phone.
The initials stand for Chiefs long snapper James Winchester and Colquitt, who managed to get Sherman's password while hanging out together on Monday nights.
After the pranksters hit send on the charity truck raffle tweet, big names with big social media followings, like Tim Tebow and McAfee himself, began retweeting the fundraiser without knowing it was a prank.
Sherman said he rolled with it and will part with his prized possession. The prank "kind of gave me two options," Sherman said. "You can either look one way or you can look the other way, so I just decided it is only a truck."
Anyone who makes a donation can win Sherman's truck or choose a $40,000 cash prize instead. The drawing will take place at 5 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 19, 2021.
Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce announced Saturday on Twitter that he will sweeten the pot with an autographed jersey for anyone donating at least $2,500.
