KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas City Royals have activated Salvador Perez from the Injured List after the star catcher had been sidelined with the coronavirus.
On July 4th, the club announced that Perez had tested positive for COVID-19, sending him into quarantine.
Perez is in the lineup for the Royals' intrasquad game Tuesday night.
His availability is key considering the Royals' back-up catcher Cam Gallagher is also out with a positive COVID-19 test.
