MIAMI — Kansas City Chiefs fans are getting a few additions to the Kingdom.
Minnesota Vikings fans sporting their purple and gold were spotted at the Chiefs official pep rally at Bayfront Park in Miami.
Mark and Sandy Lamon told 41 Action News they are cheering on the Chiefs on Super Bowl Sunday.
“They always got good looking cheerleaders, not a super fan of any of their reds, but at least they got their chop," the Lamons said.
At the pep rally, the two even joined Chiefs Kingdom in the Tomahawk Chop.
“I don’t have any emotion about either team, but Kansas City adjusts better than any team in the NFL, so they’ll adjust. It doesn’t matter about the lead that might happen by San Francisco, Kansas City will end up shutting down San Francisco. I don’t know if they’ll win big, but I just feel they’ll win," Mark Lamon said.
The Lamons told 41 Action News they have moved on from Super Bowl IV. They say it's easy to cheer on the Chiefs, especially when another Colquitt is playing for the team.
Chiefs punter Dustin Colquitt was drafted in the third round in the NFL Draft to the team in 2005. His brother, Britton Colquitt, is the punter for the Vikings.
