KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The buses that will carry the Kansas City Chiefs through the Chiefs Kingdom Champions Parade on Wednesday made a pit stop in Columbia, Missouri, on Monday night.
The buses stopped outside of the Holiday Inn Hotel off U.S. Highway 63 for the night, according to KOMU 8 News.
Players will ride atop the massive red buses that read "World Champions" at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, when the parade kicks off in downtown Kansas City, Missouri.
The special ride is in celebration of the Chiefs' Super Bowl LIV victory over the San Francisco 49ers.
The buses were set to leave Columbia around 11 a.m. Tuesday to continue their journey to Kansas City.
