KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Sporting Kansas City announced on Friday that ticket sales for the next matches will be available to the general public, not just season ticket holders.
Only season ticket holders had been allowed to purchase tickets previously in order to limit how many fans were in the stands during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The club will allow 18% stadium capacity for the games, which amounts to about 3,300 fans. That's up from a previous 14% cap.
"Comprehensive health and safety protocols" remain in place.
Fans will still have to wear masks and will be seated in pods within the stadium so that social distancing can continue.
Ticket sales will begin Monday and are subject to availability.
