KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Tickets are still available for purchase to attend Sunday’s AFC Championship game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri.

Prices range from about $700 per ticket on the low end to nearly $2,000 per ticket on the high end.

Adam Rossbach is the the vice president of sales and marketing for Tickets For Less in Overland Park, Kansas.

Rossbach said it’s best to buy tickets early to guarantee a seat in the stadium.

“It's always safer to buy early especially with the demand we're seeing now. The prices can trend up and we've seen them trend down close to the game,” Rossbach said. “But I wouldn't expect much relief in pricing.”

Despite Arrowhead Stadium limiting crowds to 22% of the stadium’s capacity because of COVID-19, Rossbach said ticket prices haven’t skyrocketed.

He said they’re comparable to last year’s AFC Championship game when the Chiefs hosted the Tennessee Titans with 100 percent capacity.

According to Rossback a concern this season is “pod integrity.” Tickets are sold in packs with the idea each pod of four or six people will be socially distant from another pod and everyone within a pod will be a part of each other’s “COVID bubbles” outside of the stadium.

He said it’s against Chiefs policy to split a pack of tickets between separate pods.

“I think throughout this whole pandemic, everyone has to trust one another and make sure that people aren't just looking out for themselves, but also looking out for their neighbor,” Rossbach explained.

You can purchase tickets on Tickets for Less’s website. It is already accepting deposits on Super Bowl tickets for those confident fans.
