COLUMBIA, Mo. — Minutes before Missouri tipped off with Tennessee in the Tigers' SEC home opener, the team announced that big man Jeremiah would miss Tuesday's game and likely more contests with a stress fracture in his foot.
Tilmon spent the game on the bench in a boot on his left leg.
What he saw on the floor was a balanced Tennessee offense winning 69-59 over Mizzou. Six players scored in double figures for the Volunteers, who outscored the Tigers by 10 points over the final six minutes.
Tray Jackson came off the bench to lead the Tigers with 11 points.
There is no timetable for Tilmon's return.
