A bill proposed by Washington lawmakers would allow people to bring guns into stadiums.

The proposal would prevent places like stadiums from creating policies that ban people from bringing a concealed pistol into the complex. People would still need to have a conceal and carry license to bring the gun into the stadium.

If this were to pass, it would mean that fans could bring pistols to Seattle Seahawks and Seattle Mariners home games.

The bill was filed by Republican representatives Matt Shea, David Taylor and Bob McCaslin.

The NFL has said this bill works against its own policies. Brian McCarthy, the NFL's vice president of communication, told The Washington Post, “We haven’t seen the proposed legislation but we have a policy forbidding carrying a weapon into NFL stadiums.”

News of this bill comes as video surfaced of a large fight between Kansas City Chiefs and Oakland Raiders fans at Arrowhead stadium.

The video shows several people involved and one woman tumbling down several rows of seats.
