KANSAS CITY, Mo — It is finally here: Opening Day.
Just about four months late, your Kansas City Royals will finally begin the 2020 baseball season.
Tonight, the Royals will take the diamond as they take on the Cleveland Indians at Progressive Park at 6:10 p.m.
For Royals fans, it’s been quite the year, but many are ready to put it all outside tonight and watch the greatest game in the world.
Crack open a beverage, fire up the grill and enjoy the game.
Here’s some moments we captured earlier today on Twitter:
Way to start them early Scott!
Opening day is different this year but I’m glad to introduce my daughter to the game I love and the team I love. #GoRoyals #royals #kcroyals #openingday #mlb pic.twitter.com/Fveq3AwrJR

We feel your pain Andres! Don't worry, soon enough you'll be taking baby Luna to her first game at the K.
Bummed we can’t go to a game this year! But there’s always next year! Glad baseball is back! #OpeningDay #Royals pic.twitter.com/0aQGkpZkgP

Ryan McPhail, you are not alone. We all remember the days when we could enjoy a Royals game from the K. For now, watching safely from home will have to do!
Sure wish this was us right now!!!! #Royals #Wifey pic.twitter.com/fF8sDjQ9BT
