KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Sinclair Broadcast Group Inc. announced Thursday it has reached an agreement with YouTube TV for the streaming service to continue carrying the majority of FOX Regional Sports Networks.

Sinclair said 19 of 21 regional sports networks would continue to be available for subscribers, including FOX Sports Midwest.

The deal comes after the two entities failed to reach an agreement in late February.

Many customers expressed frustration at the impasse, citing rising subscription costs and fewer channels.

In the same February announcement, YouTube TV said it had also failed to reach an agreement with Sinclair on its YES Network, the fate of which remained unclear Thursday.

Sinclair's Thursday announcement includes FOX Sports Kansas City, a spokesperson confirmed.
