Pope Francis makes his first trip to North America this week. A group of local high school students are counting down the days until they can see him for themselves in Philadelphia.
During a special prayer at Rockhurst High School, parishioners prayed for a safe journey and gave thanks for the opportunity.
The group heads out Thursday and will return to Kansas City Monday.
