MoDOT will remove the 83rd Street Bridge over I-435 in Jackson County over the weekend.
All northbound and southbound lanes of I-435 will be closed throughout the demolition from US-71 to MO-350.
The closures will begin on Friday at 10 p.m., and the interstate is set to reopen early Monday morning.
MoDOT is not replacing the 83rd Street Bridge.
Drivers can use US-71 as an alternate route over the weekend.
