Good Sunday bloggers,

We had a super Sunday sunrise as cirrus clouds were moving in from the west. This made the sunrise.

Here are some pics of the progression of one of our prettier sunrises.

BTW, sunrise is at 5:55 AM. We are 3 weeks away from the longest daylight of the year.

The sunrise is the beautiful side of Mother Nature. She has a tricky side as well.

The forecast around here is usually tough and there is no exception today through Wednesday.

We are in a weather pattern where areas of rain and thunderstorms will be forming in the western Plains the next 2-3 days. They will then head east into eastern Kansas and western Missouri. If they hold together, we see heavy rain the next 2-3 days. If they weaken or dissipate before they arrive or track south, we see much less rain.
Which scenario is right? Are you ready for pool weather?

In the 6 minute video below we go in to detail on the rain chances/amounts and the arrival of much warmer and humid air.

Have a safe and healthy rest of your holiday weekend.
