Good Sunday morning! A big change is on the way!
There is a cold front slowly moving our way, and this is the beginning of a huge change. The weather this week will feature today's cold front, a weak storm zipping by on Monday evening, and a stronger storm around Wednesday night.
Tailgating weather looks great today with increasing clouds this afternoon. It may get close to 60 degrees this afternoon around 3 PM before the cooler air begins arriving. So, if you get to tailgating early it will be pretty nice. And, then we begin to see changes with cooler air moving in with a wind shift to the northwest. There is even a chance of some light drizzle during the game.
On Monday, there is a fast moving disturbance coming our way. There is a chance we will see our first snowflakes Monday evening, with the best chance over northern Missouri. There is even a chance of a dusting of snow north of KC. This disturbance will race by, and then we have a bigger storm to deal with around Wednesday into Halloween. It may be past us by Trick or Treat time Thursday evening. and we will learn more soon. The chance of accumulating snow is there, but we are favoring this to target far northern Missouri. The track is still uncertain.
Have a great day and go Chiefs. Let's get loud out at Arrowhead Stadium. Green Bay is favored by around 3 points. I am expecting the Chiefs defense to show up big time tonight, and our 12th man, you, can make the difference. Go Chiefs!
