Good Sunday bloggers,
The most recent storm that brought us around 1" of rain, 2 tornadoes to northeast Oklahoma and 5" of snow to Chicago, so far, is headed to the east coast. The storm is going to get energized by the Atlantic Ocean becoming a Nor'Easter tonight and Monday. 10"-15" of snow is possible from Washington D.C. to Boston.
It has been a wild week of weather as a series of storm systems has brought 10"-20" of snow along I-80, 1"-2" of snow around KC with 1" of rain and yesterday the 2 tornadoes in northeast Oklahoma.
Super Bowl week is here! It is so much more fun to listen to the hype when it is your team in the Super Bowl. My forecast for the game is that the Chiefs win 35-26. I think it is going to be a very good game.
Now, what about the weather forecast for Kansas City on Super Bowl Sunday? That is much more difficult. Between now and then we have a warm up and then a drop in temperature.
How warm will it get? How cold will it get? Will there be a winter storm with the colder air?
The 5 minute video below has details on the forecast through next Saturday.
Have a great week and stay healthy. GO CHIEFS!
