Multiple roads are closed after flash flooding hit Maryville, Missouri.

A bridge over Long Branch River on 136 Highway was covered in debris after flood waters receded. Emergency crews were at the area most of the night and closed the road.

The Missouri Department of Transportation said there is so much damage an engineer will need to inspect the bridge.

U Highway in Arkoe, Missouri was still closed Thursday morning due to flooding and water over the roadway.

A corn field and soy bean field just north of Maryville was covered in water. Dozens of acres looked like ponds or lakes. The wind was so significant you could see white caps in the flood waters.
